A Method for Rapid Preliminary Recognizing Chaotic Waveforms

Abstract

In order to solve the problem of rapid recognizing chaotic waves in the real-time, according to the characteristics of chaotic waves, a new method is proposed. The method can avoid a lot more calculating work, and simplifies measuring chaotic waves to achieve fast preliminary recognition efforts. Based on Chua's circuit, the mechanism of the method is introduced in detail. Periodic signal, noise signal, single-scroll chaotic and double scroll chaotic waves and other waves have been experimented physically, which verify that the method is simple and effective. All figures are measured by a digital oscilloscope in the paper.
