Abstract

An apparatus, the dilactres cell, has been developed for determining structure parameters on operating porous gas diffusion electrodes. The experimental values of these parameters have been compared with the predictions of the thin‐film model where all forms of polarization are present. The experimentally obtained polarization curves are within 15% of the computed ones for Ni‐electrodes operating on air in at 50°C with Ag as catalyst.
