Abstract

In response to the potential computational errors caused by neglecting the number of spare parts and the maintenance time for calculating the success probability of repairable products, a calculation method for mechanical series components is proposed in this paper, which is considered the factors such as the quantity of spare parts and the maintenance time required for using spare parts, and the calculation model and steps for the mission success probability of repairable products are provided. Due to the comprehensive impact of maintenance time and the quantity of spare parts, the accuracy of the calculation is improved. The effectiveness of this method has been verified through example simulation calculations, and it is expected to have certain application value for product reliability and supportability evaluation.
