Abstract
Welcome to the first issue of IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems (TCSS) of 2021. I am excited to serve as the new Editor-in-Chief (EiC) of our journal. First, I would like to thank my predecessor, Prof. Fei-Yue Wang from the Chinese Academy of Science, for his dedication and commitment over the past three years. Under his outstanding leadership, along with the contribution and effects from our associate editors and supporting staff, IEEE TCSS is becoming a thriving journal of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society (SMC). I also would like to express my appreciation to the IEEE Publication Committee members and my colleagues at the IEEE SMC for putting their trust in me.
