Abstract
A diffuse approximation method (DAM) for three-dimensional, incompressible, viscous fluid flow is presented. The method works directly with primitive variables. The discretized equations are solved using a first-order-in-time, implicit projection algorithm. The proposed method is verified by applying it to the steady three-dimensional differentially heated cubic cavity. The results are compared to those of numerical and experimental investigations in the literature.
