Abstract

We study a novel merger of adaptive smart antenna maximum noise fraction (MNF) beam forming and multi carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) systems (MNF/MC-CDMA). MNF maximizes the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and leads to a generalized singular value (GSVD) problem. Here, we discuss MNF capability in signal separation considering a perturbed covariance matrix for the observed and the noise signals in dispersive channels.
