One of us (SM) had an opportunity to join his group at the IBM Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights in 1975, where the main subject of research was to develop magnetic bubble memory
Since I got my PhD for the study of critical phenomena at magnetic phase transitions just before I joined, I did not even know what magnetic bubbles were
Summary
A special symposium was held on the evening of Wednsday Nov. 6th, 2019 at the 64th Annual Conference on Magnetism and Magnetic Materials honoring the memory of Dr John C.
