Abstract

This paper proposes a multi-code interference (MCI) cancellation scheme employing multi-user detection (MUD) techniques for VSF-OFCDM system. The MCI cancellation structure is composed of minimum mean square error (MMSE) multi-user detector as the time domain MUD (TMUD) and parallel interference cancellation multi-user detector (PIC- MUD) as the frequency domain MUD (FMUD), i.e., TFMUD. Simulation results show that the TFMUD detector is more robust to different channel conditions and system parameters than the conventional detector.
