Abstract
This article is an excerpt from a doctoral research that aims to analyze the feminine in the candomblés of Angola in Brazil, specifically the feminine positions of Makotas. We will use as a theoretical framework authors whose work focuses on African ancestry, such as African Womanism, by Dove and Matripotência, by Oyěwùmí. In this sense, as a methodology we will adopt the everyday studies present in Alves and Caputo, as well as Alves' educational networks. It should be noted that this research is part of a decolonial and anti-racist epistemological movement.

A pesquisa que apresentamos neste artigo é parte integrante do arcabouço teórico do Grupo de Pesquisa Kékeré7, que se debruça sobre temas pormenorizados pela sociedade, tais como estudos de crianças de terreiros, os saberes ancestrais oriundos das religiões de matrizes africanas e as questões de gênero nessas religiões
A pesquisa, ainda em andamento e tecida por diferentes e diversas mãos, olhares e percepções, a partir de uma cosmopercepção, presente nos saberes ancestrais africanos não limitados apenas em um único sentido, busca acompanhar o processo de construção dessas meninas/mulheres em Makotas/mães nos espaços de terreiros, território que muito bem ressignificou, mas também perpetuou saberes de África

Este artigo é um recorte de uma pesquisa de doutorado na área da educação, em andamento, que se ocupa em analisar a representação do feminino nos candomblés brasileiros, em específico, das Makotas4, cuja posição hierárquica em cargos dentro de uma casa de axé são ocupados apenas por mulheres nos terreiros de nação Angola, representantes dos povos Bantu5.
