Abstract

A mathematical model of the passive properties of bladder muscle is described. It consists of an arbitrary number of blocks connected together. Between each two blocks there is nonlinear elastic reactance, viscous resistance, and frictional resistance. The equations for the system are set down, and simulation studies are done on the case of two movable blocks to compare the behavior of the model with that of bladder muscle.
