Abstract
A new type of marine reverse osmosis seawater desalination technology is developed in order to solve problems of high energy consumption, large volume and high noise, etc. in traditional one. The new process uses a medium pressure feed pump and a three-in-one circulating pump in series. The three-in-one pump serves as the high-pressure circulating pump, energy recycling device and booster pump. The pump can effectively recover the pressure energy in the process of reverse osmosis, so that the system energy consumption greatly reduced; the small configuration and integrated design of the device can adapt to the narrow space of the ship; the reciprocating frequency of the simplified system is low which means lower noise of the new system than the traditional one. The system can fully meet the requirements of miniaturization and energy saving of marine seawater desalination equipment.
