Abstract

A marching-on-in-degree (MOD) solution of the time-domain combined field integral equation (TD-CFIE) with Nystrom scheme is proposed to analyze transient electromagnetic scattering from arbitrarily shaped perfect electrically conducting (PEC) objects. In this scheme, the Lagrange interpolation polynomials and weighted Laguerre polynomials are used to represent the spatial and temporal basis functions, respectively. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the proposed method is accurate and efficient.
