Abstract
The 29 sites in the polyoma genome cleaved by endonuclease (endo) A lul and the site cleaved by endo XbaI have been identified. The A luI fragments range in size from 0.9 to 37 × 10 4 daltons; 17 sites are located in the early region, and 12 are in the late region. The XbaI site is located 17% of the genome away from the EcoRI site, towards the terminus of DNA replication.
