Abstract

The title of this book is generally misleading. The authors have diplomatically chosen to use the term ‘manual therapist' in the title. However, I feel this misrepresents the target audience. The authors are chiropractors, who present content disproportionately leaning towards the ‘chiropractic manual therapist' and the chiropractic world in which they practise. This situation unfairly promotes the book. There would be greater professional fairness if the title exposed the ‘chiropractic' angle of the content.
