Abstract

The article discusses the concept of quantitative multi-sided approaches (MSA) to the study of international migration. The author attempts to show why cross national boundary data and analysis are crucial aspects of migration theory and government policy, discusses the methodological aspects of several quantitative approaches, and examines the challenges and opportunities presented by integrating MSA to migration research.
