Abstract
Partendo dall’esempio del libro VI dell’Eneide di Virgilio, questo articolo esplora cio che potrebbero diventare il linguaggio e la «verita» se, al contrario di cio che Platone propone per la formazione dei guardiani dello stato, invece di procedere verso l’alto, dalla percezione dei sensi all’essere univoco e intelligibile, ci si muove verso il basso, in direzione del regno ambiguo del sonno, dei sogni e della morte.
