Abstract

In this paper, we analyze the control effect of the Lyapunov control strategy on the single-phase shunt hybrid active power filter based on the averaged state space model. The control law is derived by constructing an appropriate Lyapunov control function, and the switching signals is obtained through the pulse width modulation (PWM). The simulation results show that the Lyapunov-based control for a single-phase shunt hybrid active filter is of stability feature, and has good harmonic compensation performance. It presents better harmonic elimination compared to the the traditional PI and LQR controller.
