Abstract
A simple luminescence spectrophotometer system has been developed for the observation of emissions in the wavelength range 180-600 nm from microcrystalline powders excited by pulses of ionizing radiation. The samples may be irradiated at selected temperatures between 90?K and room temperature and in the presence of different gases. The system allows delayed emission measurements to be made from 2 ?sec after the irradiation cut-off.
