Abstract
A low cost experiment on digital temperature control process for incorporating with a digital control course A simple real time and low cost experience in temperature control is presented. This paper describes a sequence of five experiments performed with the temperature process. They include modelling, simulation, P and PI control by microcomputer, noise rejection and non linear effects. The simulations have been carried-out by means of two simulation packages: TUTSIM and MATLAB.
