Abstract

An inexpensive electronic circuit is described for constant current-constant voltage anodic oxidation. The circuit consists of a constant current source, a constant voltage source and a comparator. The constant current source and constant voltage source are built around 723 voltage regulators. A 741 operational amplifier is used as a comparator. The constant current can be preset in the range 0.5-20.0 mA. The constant voltage and the switch-over voltage can be independently preset in the range 0-250 V DC.
