Abstract

A low-complexity pattern synthesis algorithm for arrays is presented. For a given desired sidelobe level, first using the linear search at the sidelobe region to find the location and the identity of the peak of sidelobe, only at the corresponding location of the sidelobe's peaks the interferences are introduced and at the same time the interferences powers are adjusted iteratively to control the sidelobes until the desired sidelobes are acquired. As a result the number of interferences substantially reduces, it is greatly improved the complexity, and the maximum sidelobe level has achieved to −60dB.
