Abstract

A low power and long range UAV attitude measurement system has been proposed in this paper, which adopts LoRa spread spectrum communication technology. A low power CPU is employed to calculate the data of sensors, including MEMS gyroscope, MEMS accelerometer and magnetic sensor in real time, which is embedded with efficient and powerful internet of things operating system Contiki and advanced multi-sensor fusion algorithm. The experimental test shows that the system can get the attitude information in real time during the long-distance flight, and it enjoys the characteristics of low power, stable performance and high precision, which can meet the requirements of the general UAV attitude measurement.
