Abstract

obtain a minimal dose of irradiation when carrying out X-ray testing of low-density objects in order to detect contrast inclusions, conditions to minimize the X-ray irradiation dose in accordance with a criterion of quantum signal-to-noise ratio are analyzed. This paper gives the analysis of image fanning processes'in an X-ray gas-discharge luminescent converter (GDLC) with brightness amplification and the results of calculations to estimate its optimal parameters. Experimental researches of GDLC dose sensitivity and image quality characteristics are also described. The roentgenoscopic hardware complex developed based on a GDLC provides microdose express testing in non-stationary or open-air conditions.
