Abstract

We established a simulation method for low cycle fatigue elastoplastic fracture under the framework of the Non-ordinary State-based peridynamics. It used mixed hardening models and failure criteria based on accumulated plastic strain. Furthermore, the numerical solution method of the elastoplastic constitutive equation was given. In order to verify the simulation method, the simulations of 316L steel strain control symmetric cyclic test and Q235 low cycle fatigue failure test were conducted, which showed good agreement with the experimental results. Our findings demonstrated the suitability of the proposed simulation method for damage fracture analysis with elastoplastic low cycle fatigue.
