Abstract
Spread ALOHA is an access scheme for use by VSATs in a Satellite Network. In this paper a link design for a mesh network using Satellite has been given. The need for synchronisation in the digital satellite communications is also discussed. The paper then gives an outline of a Software Locked Loop (SLL) for implementing the synchronisation and other baseband circuits for a Spread ALOHA access VSAT.
