Abstract
Intel tackles a broad range of research initiatives worldwide with a decentralized R&D operation consisting of about 75 labs and more than 7000 researchers and scientists around the world. In addition, Intel conducts long-range exploratory research into emerging and disruptive technologies beyond the corporation's product road map. It funds special strategic research projects within the company, manages more than 300 individual academic research grants through the Research Council, and manages the Intel Research Network, a group of small research facilities adjacent to top universities where Intel encourages an open and deeply collaborative research environment. www.intel.com/research
