Abstract

The scheduling strategy on load balancing, used by data center in cloud computing, plays an important role on computing performance, and it is a key technique for the high-performance service. It directly controls the total perform- ance and the efficiency of resource in cloud computing. In this paper, we introduce seven recent patents in the area of load balancing of cloud computing and discuss some classical load balancing algorithms (especially Min-Min algorithm). Based on Min-Min algorithm, a new improved algorithm named BCLL-Min-Min is proposed. It can satisfy the bandwidth constraint and implement the relative load balancing scheduling. The simulated experiments show that BCLL-Min-Min algorithm is widely available for the diverse and uncertain tasks in cloud computing. It improves the load balance in data center and enhances the throughput in the cluster.
