Abstract
We propose, in this paper, non-parametric decision rules used in a statistical pattern recognition system with incomplete knowledge. These decision rules are based on the examination of membership sequences of k-nearest neighbors. Beyond these parameters, we introduce the non-decision. To apply the decision rules, an expert system is used, which is also described in this paper. Lastly, a numerical and simulated example is given.
