Abstract

This text aims to identify how spoken language fits into the musical education proposals of Carl Orff and Murray Schafer, and to evaluate the expressive and creative strength of the words in these proposals. This is a bibliographical research that focused on productions that address the theoretical contributions and musical experiences shared by Orff and Schafer. It is possible to see convergences and intersections between his proposals, whether through listening or through musical achievement. The reflections that emanate from the pedagogies described symbolize bridges that can lead us to the transformation of thought, to new dispositions and, especially, to the concreteness of sensitive and creative musical achievements, reaffirming the direction of contemporary musical experiences.
