Abstract
A linear gate, one of whose outputs is proportional to the time integral of the input pulse, is described. The circuit is direct coupled throughout in order to eliminate the effects of count rate. The gate and analogue input circuit have a rise-time of about 2 nsec and can be used over a very wide range of input pulse widths.
