Abstract

Abstract The decommissioning of the Bishop Tank Farm began as a simple equipment dismantling and removal. However, the presence of soil contamination led to a costly and lengthy site remediation. The successful cleanup of the lease provided valuable lessons in minimizing environmental contamination and managing remediation at oil and gas facilities.
