Abstract
Abstract Turing’s lecture ‘Intelligent Machinery, A Heretical Theory’ was given at Manchester University, probably in 1951. His ‘Can Digital Computers Think?’ was broadcast on the BBC Third Programme in May 1951. ‘Can Automatic Calculating Machines Be Said To Think?’, broadcast on the Third Programme in January 1952, is a discussion between Turing, Newman, Braithwaite and Jefferson. The appearance of these three items completes the publication of Turing’s surviving works on machine intelligence.
