Abstract
The renovation and restoration of the Kings Theatre, in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, rescued a beautiful venue of considerable historical importance that was quite literally falling to pieces. The project modernized and expanded the facility so that it could once again welcome performers and audiences within its highly ornate walls and decorative domed ceiling.
