Abstract

Based on quadratic congruences, a family of codes which have large capacity, good auto-correlation and cross-correlation properties is constructed. To our knowledge, this kind of codes is firstly put forward in frequency domain for OCDMA (Optical Code Division Multiple Access) system using noncoherent source. Then, a relevant en/decoder scheme based on AWG (Array Waveguide Grating) is designed by us. The scheme has the properties of simple tuning and easy matching. The star-style topology of OCDMA system using the code sets is also shown.
