Abstract
Finite automaton can be used in Chinese word segmentation technology. The finite automaton recognizing every kind of words and the Chinese word segmentation algorithm based on the finite automaton were constructed. Chinese word segmentation can be completed by using the word segmentation algorithm based on finite automaton. By example, the efficiency of the Chinese word segmentation can be improved and the part of speech dimension can be completed during segmenting words by using the Chinese word segmentation algorithm based on finite automaton.
