Abstract
In the digital age, mobile devices are integral to daily life, making robust security measures essential for protecting sensitive data. This paper presents the development of a mobile application aimed at enhancing personal security through a keypad-based authentication system, integrated with Short Message Service (SMS) and Virtual Private Network (VPN) functionalities. The intuitive interface of keypads allows users to swiftly send predefined emergency messages with a single keystroke, including their current location and urgency details. The application ensures encrypted and secure communication via a VPN and leverages SMS for reliable real-time notifications, even in areas with limited connectivity. A user-centered design approach, utilizing React JS for frontend development and Bootstrap for a responsive UI, ensures accessibility and ease of use for individuals with varying levels of technological proficiency. Rigorous testing validates the application's functionality and performance, demonstrating its potential to streamline emergency communication and enhance personal security in critical situations.
