Abstract

A katharometer for determining the concentration of helium in air in the range 0-100% was coupled to an electronic feedback bridge supply circuit. It was found that an optimal feedback gain exists for which the measurement non-linearity reaches a minimum value of 1%, which is 15 times better than with the conventional constant voltage bridge supply.
