Abstract

This is a bibliographic review about the incidence of stress on the child population. A bibliographic survey was carried out in the database of referenced sites for academic research, mainly with the keywords: stress, child and school. Observing the period of publications between 1990 and 2014, a total of 12 articles . Literature points out to the importance of the knowledge of childhood stress by the family, teachers and all school staff so that they may be able to act correctly with the child and thus provide a healthy individual development that will affect society as a whole.
