Abstract

Objective: to identify through the integrative review the importance of the implementation of the reception in Primary Health Care providing information about this attitude in the light of the published literature. Methodology: This is an integrative review of the literature, whose data were collected from secondary sources, through a bibliographic survey of scientific studies in Brazil, from 2017 to 2021, in three databases: VHL (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online), Pubmed (U.S.National Library of Medicine) and Web of Science; the main question of the study was: What were the impacts on the quality of Primary Health Care with the implementation of reception in health services in Brazil in the last five years? Results: The search resulted in 160 articles, after reflective and critical reading of the abstracts, 15 articles were selected that met the objectives and the guide question, after the full reading of the articles was performed. Conclusion: Welcoming is a method designed to collaborate with the qualification of health issues, in a way that allows the user access to a fair and comprehensive care, through multiprofessionality and intersectoriality. It is a tool capable of enabling the SUS to effectiveness its constitutional principles. In addition, the study showed that welcoming promotes the connection of trust and commitment of users with the team and services, being a fundamental action for the humanization of the SUS and depends solely on the professionals inserted in the Primary Care network.
