Abstract

A theoretical work based on the second quantification of spin waves in ferromagnetic/non-magnetic multilayers has been presented in this paper. This theoretical approach intended to modelling the excitation modes of spin waves at low temperature. The effect of the characteristic parameters of the system on the spin wave dispersion modes has been investigated. This study shows that spin waves located at the interfaces are at the origin of the stability/instability of the magnetic state in the studied multilayers. It also shows that the dipolar interactions, the interface anisotropy and the exchange interactions have a major influence on the energy of these modes.
