In order to suppress the dispersion of the FD scheme, many scholars have proposed various methods to optimize the coefficients of FD scheme. The operators of FD scheme obtained by Remez exchange algorithm can achieve the largest bandwidth in known methods when use the same error limitation. However, this method has a strong dispersion in the low wavenumbers, compared with other optimization algorithms. In order to reduce this dispersion and maintain the superiority of the Remez exchange algorithm, we propose a new optimization method based on the Remez exchange algorithm and the Lagrange algorithm. We use the null point solved by the Remez exchange algorithm as the constraint condition of the Lagrange algorithm. Under such constrained conditions, optimal FD coefficients can be obtained by minimizing the absolute error of the sapce domain dispersion relation through the Lagrange algorithm. Dispersion analysis tests and numerical simulations prove that this method can maintain a higher range of wavenumbers while also can achieve a high accuracy in the low wavenumbers. Keywords: finite difference, 2D, acoustic, dispersionPermalink: https://doi.org/10.1190/segam2021-3583948.1FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails First International Meeting for Applied Geoscience & Energy Expanded AbstractsISSN (print):1052-3812 ISSN (online):1949-4645Copyright: 2021 Pages: 3561 publication data© 2021 Published in electronic format with permission by the Society of Exploration GeophysicistsPublisher:Society of Exploration Geophysicists HistoryPublished: 01 Sep 2021 CITATION INFORMATION Weiting Peng, Jianping Huang, and Shuo Xu, (2021), "A high-precision broadband seismic simulation method based on Remez exchange and Lagrange algorithm," SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts : 2475-2479. https://doi.org/10.1190/segam2021-3583948.1 Plain-Language Summary Keywordsfinite difference2DacousticdispersionPDF DownloadLoading ...
