Abstract
Development of tactical guided missiles is a very challenging task. There are many elements on ground for acquiring and tracking targets while there are equally complex subsystems onboard the missile. This paper brings out some of the critical issues solved by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in case of three missile systems - TRISHUL, AKASH and NAG. Recently aLl these missiles have recorded excellent results in meeting all design requirements ending w ith s ucces sful tar get inte rcepts.
