Abstract

Natural gas has become one of the major energy sources in urban life, and methane is the main component. Natural gas leakage is not only a waste of resources, such as can not be dealt with in time, there is also the risk of explosion. In order to achieve high accuracy on-line natural gas monitoring device, design a high precision trace methane analyzer based on TDLAS technology, using low noise 20m Herriott long path gas chamber and direct absorption method to realize the 0~20ppm concentration range of methane to realize high Sensitivity on-line monitoring,its detection limit reached 0.09*10-6. The results show that the instrument meets the above specifications and meets the technical requirements of high precision online analysis of natural gas leakage. It has great potential and wide application value.
