Abstract

AbstractThe simulation results of the V‐shaped sustain electrode structure, with high Xe ratio discharge gas, showed higher luminous efficiency and higher brightness than those of the conventional coplanar electrode structure. In the results of simulation, the discharge voltage of V‐shaped sustain electrode structure was lower by 20 volt and the luminous efficiency is 2.1 times higher and the brightness is about 5 times larger than that of conventional coplanar electrode structure.
