Abstract

A multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna covering sub-6GHz band in 5G is proposed in this paper. The antenna consists of two C-shaped monopole antenna elements and a decoupling structure which is a rectangular parasitic patch engraved with three I-shaped slots and deposited between two antenna elements to achieve high isolation. The antenna size of this design is $35mm\times 60mm\times 1.6mm$, the simulation impedance matching bandwidth is 4.4-5GHz, and the isolation in the working frequency band is less than −40dB. Simulation results show that the antenna has good impedance matching and high isolation performance.
