Abstract
The magnetic properties and structures of CoPt 15 nm /Ag 0−100 nm films deposited by DC magnetron sputtering on glass substrates have been studied. The (0 0 1) texturing was improved by introducing an Ag underlayer. As the Ag underlayer thickness was 100 nm, a nearly perfect (0 0 1)-textured CoPt film was obtained.
