Abstract

Data-Storage Devices In article number 2201035, Jianxing Li, Tiger H. Tao, Zhitao Zhou, and co-workers demonstrate an implantable silk-based hierarchically encoded data-storage device with controlled transiency. Resistive random-access memory, terahertz metamaterials, and diffractive optical elements are vertically integrated to store electronic, photonic, and optical information. The hierarchical degradation modes realized by different solvents can greatly increase the storage capacity and information encryption.
