Abstract
Results of an experimental study of a heat-insulating material for industrial equipment based on low-melting clay and metallurgical wastes are presented. The main properties of the material as a function of its composition are considered. Specimens of optimum composition have a low density (350 – 400 kg/m3) and a high compression strength (0.8 – 1.3 MPa).
