Abstract

This paper describes the results of the development and the main technical characteristics of an optical-photoelectronic complex, which is designed to simultaneously obtain images of rapid processes in reflected and transmitted light. It consists of two devices for high-speed registration of domestic production, a pulsed light source with a gas-discharge point emitter, and a translucent diffuse-scattering screen. Examples of the practical application of the complex for obtaining information in aeroballistic and gas-dynamic experiments, including those accompanied by intense background thermal radiation, are given.
