Abstract

Background: The hair tourniquet has been reported as early as 1612. A hair becomes wrapped around an appendage, limiting vascular and lymphatic drainage, and if left undiagnosed, may result in necrosis of the affected area. We present an adolescent female with a two and a half year history of clitoral pain.
